Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to an accessible website, the steps we have taken, and how to request an alternate format or report a barrier.

Last updated: October 21, 2026

RENAWO Renovations is committed to making renawo.com accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control or keyboard-only navigation.

Our Approach

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.x at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These internationally recognized guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to review and improve the website over time.

Measures We Have Taken

Steps we have taken to support accessibility include:

  • Clear structure: pages use a logical heading order, with one main heading per page, so content is easier to navigate with assistive technology.
  • Text alternatives: meaningful images include alternative text.
  • Keyboard navigation: menus, links, buttons and forms are designed to be reachable and usable with a keyboard.
  • Visible focus: interactive elements show a visible focus indicator when navigated by keyboard.
  • Colour and contrast: we choose text and background colours with readable contrast in mind, and we avoid relying on colour alone to convey information.
  • Form labels: form fields have labels and instructions to help everyone complete them.
  • Reduced motion: the website respects the reduced-motion setting in your device or browser, limiting animations for visitors who prefer less movement.
  • Responsive design: pages adapt to different screen sizes and support browser zoom.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. For example, some content or features provided by third parties, such as embedded tools or links to external websites, may not meet the same accessibility standards, and these are outside our direct control. Older documents or images may also have limitations. We do not claim that every page fully conforms to WCAG, and we welcome feedback that helps us find and fix barriers.

Requesting an Alternate Format or Reporting a Barrier

If you have difficulty using any part of this website, need information in an alternate format, or would like to report an accessibility barrier, please let us know through our contact page. It helps to include:

  • The page address (URL) where you had difficulty
  • A short description of the problem
  • The browser, device or assistive technology you were using, if you are comfortable sharing it
  • The format or method of communication that works best for you

We will do our best to respond within a reasonable time and to provide the information you need in a way that works for you.

Accessibility in Ontario

Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) sets out a goal of making Ontario accessible for people with disabilities, including through standards for information and communications. We support the goals of the AODA and use WCAG guidance to inform how we build and maintain our website. You can learn more about the AODA on the Government of Ontario website.

Ongoing Improvement

We review the website as content and features change and aim to address accessibility issues as they are identified. This statement will be updated as we make improvements. You can always reach us through our contact page with questions or suggestions.
